(Insert Creative Title Here...)

Hi again, its me!!!
lets see where to start. This past week i have had essentially the flu which was dreadful for multiple reasons the main one being i was away from home, made it so difficult to want to go it alone.  But i am feeling better, not 100% but i actually went to a lecture today which is an upgrade from just lying in bed with a blanket over my head not wanting anything to do with anyone. the Lord definitely was with me in my extreme teary phone calls home. Well that is not a very positive story so lets see what else i have in store for you guys, oh, last week we went into a small nearby village called Muga muga and preached to individual people about the word of God. I have mixed feeling on this whole thing but we won't get into that.  Oh yea so far we have already had 2 hospital trips and this is the 1st month...should this be a good or bad thing I'm confused :).  What i thought was funny is that when i was sick they wanted to rush me to the hospital ( weird) and when the others guys who actually needed to go they didn't want to take them.  It has been raining so crazy lately and randomly. Yesterday while in bed sick, it started raining and it started coming in through the windows and doors. crazy but kinda awesome i thought.  Our internet cable was stolen for the second time this past weekend.. welcome to Africa????.  Wanna know something that keeps me going during the days when i feel like quitting?? well stop reading if you don't. But i think about the time i will be coming home and the people that will be waiting for me at the airport. I know it is like a year away but it brings a smile to my face every time.  Oh, also i never knew what an awesome family i have until i have had to live without them.  And the true friends have stuck with me throughout it all. It helps me know I'm not alone through out this all.  Some people have asked me what my address is so that they can write me letters and here it is:
YWAM
Hopeland
p.o. box 739
Jinja, Uganda.

That wasn't meant to be a "hey write me letters" type of thing. butttttttt you can if you want to, the choice is yours! ( it would be very very nice of you) but the choice is still yours :) i love you all!

  1. Hi Tess! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your days in Uganda! Most of us can't even find that on a map, let alone imagine what you are experiencing. Mr. Staut always imagines The Homecoming at the airport as well. It is a sweet thought to hold onto. There is some ground to cover between now and then, and some great adventures, for sure!
